Who We Are..
Thompson’s C.A.N., Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving K–12 students from low-income households across Randolph County, High Point, and Guilford County, North Carolina. Our name reflects our mission: to Care, Assist, and Nurture youth by meeting both immediate needs and long-term developmental goals.
Founded by Sharona Thompson, Thompson’s C.A.N. grew from a deep commitment to community and a belief that when children are supported with compassion and consistency, they are better positioned to succeed in school and in life.

To nourish , mentor, and empower youth by providing access to essential resources, meaningful relationships and transformative programs.
